My French Book Fest Comes to la Louisiane!
The Consulate General of France in Louisiana and Villa Albertine, in partnership with the Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans invite you to discover the world of children’s literature in French, at the annual My French Book Fest, held at the West Baton Rouge Museum November 13-16, 2025!
Through both its history and culture, Louisiana shares close ties with the French language; French in Louisiana is currently supported by a network of 45 French immersion schools, which welcome 5,500 students and 115 teachers from across the world. My French Book Fest was created to promote youth literacy in French; to create connections between authors of youth literature in French and young readers; and to highlight the diversity of French-language literature in the world.
My French Book Fest is a celebration of youth literature in French, and, for the second year in a row, a portion of the festival will be held at the West Baton Rouge Museum in Port Allen! On November 13-15, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on Sunday the 16 from 2 to 5 PM, the museum will open its doors to the public for events including:
My French Book Fair will be open for shopping every day!
