LPFI Mission Statement and Vision
Mission
We are a statewide community of parents and engaged volunteers dedicated to advocating for the right of all children in Louisiana to access a quality French immersion education; promoting the continued vitality of existing programs; and supporting parent groups in the creation and expansion of French immersion in every parish.
Vision
The members of LPFI will be the dynamic support network who will champion the preservation and growth of French immersion education as an option for all of Louisiana’s children.

Advocacy
LPFI is dedicated to beginning, maintaining, and supporting French Immersion opportunities state-wide. We work across schools, districts, and communities to promote and protect French Immersion and coordinate with Francophile politicians on the behalf of students, families, and schools.
Hands on experiential learning in a second language creates students who love to learn and explore.
Promotion
LPFI is made up of parents, grand parents, teachers, administrators, district personnel, CODOFIL (the counsel for the development of French in Louisiana), and community members who are committed to working together to provide quality French Immersion education throughout the state of Louisiana.
Immersion begins as early as Pre’K but the benefits last a lifetime!
