BIENVENUE

FRENCH IMMERSION IN LOUISIANA

In Spring 2016, Louisiana Parents for French Immersion (LPFI) was created by engaged parents and volunteers from different parishes who organized around a common vision:  to advocate for the right of all children in Louisiana to access a quality French Immersion education.

In just a short time, our organization has grown, becoming a truly statewide community.  With French Immersion schools among the top performing schools in the State of Louisiana, it is understandable why our organization has momentum. This momentum has led to some early victories: At the state level, we have aided in the passage of three new state laws for immersion education, we’ve spoken with local school boards for the maintenance and expansion of immersion programs in East Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Vermilion, St. Tammany, and St. Landry Parishes.

Today we advocate for French Immersion programs statewide, please come join us, attend our events, and discover what great things parents can do!
